Faculty Search in the area of Experimental Physical Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track position rank open in the area of Experimental Physical Chemistry. The successful applicant will supplement the Department’s strengths at the interfaces of chemistry with materials science and environmental science. Favorable consideration will be given to applicants having research interests in the areas of photovoltaics and/or other alternative energy sources. Candidates are expected to build a vigorous externally funded research program and exhibit a very strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Faculty Search in the area of Materials Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position rank open in the area of Materials Chemistry. The successful applicant will benefit from the Carnegie Mellon’s highly collaborative environment spanning Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Engineering Departments, and from participation in university-wide initiatives aimed at addressing the energy-related challenges. Favorable consideration will be given to applicants having research interests in inorganic/hybrid materials which could find applications in the areas of energy conversion and storage. Candidates are expected to build a vigorous externally funded research program and exhibit a very strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
